Following research carried out internally by the Strategic Monitoring Manager, Ets Favier TPL diversified their operations by moving towards products of the future: composites. They develop and produce tailor-made braiding for the aeronautics, aerospace, sports and leisure, medical, water sports, etc. sectors.

With a view to meeting the requirements of its clients and environmental standards as well as possible, the company has a range of machines specially designed for this type of production in a fully air-conditioned and ventilated workshop.


Its partnership with Schappe Techniques (manufacturer of technical threads) makes Favier a specialist in TPFL® (Long Fibre ThermoPlatics) thread braiding. Once transformed, this hybrid thread, which combines strengthening fibres and thermoplastic fibres in a consistent way, forms an ideal pre-impregnated matter for rapid moulding of strengthened thermoplastic parts.
